This family house is shaped by a deep respect for its classical origins, where ornamental details are not treated as decoration alone but as integral elements of the architectural language. Original ceiling mouldings, refined wall panelling, and carefully proportioned door frames establish a sense of rhythm and elegance throughout the home. The design balances these historic features with subtle contemporary interventions, allowing craftsmanship and materiality to remain in focus. Natural stone, warm wood floors laid in classic patterns, and bespoke joinery echo the home’s traditional character while supporting modern living. Light is used to softly articulate details highlighting relief, depth, and texture so that each space feels calm, layered, and enduring.
